a look back
7.7.8-0 (ish) It's that time of year.
A photograph as a memory.

2.29.8 A new look for some old pics.
I love leap day. It feels like extra time that
doesn't really exist -- almost like anything crazy
you pull today doesn't really count. Not that I have
anything particularly crazy planned -- but if
you do, I hope it all goes well.
I recently started teaching a class on computer applications for students of photography - one of the applications we use (Adobe Lightroom) has a really slick web publishing feature. As an example of the program's capabilities, I put together a sample site of some previous wedding work. It's online here. Check it out. And, if you know anyone getting married - pass it on.
Happy 2.29.

10.01.7 Beat the Brat. Please.
Quite some time ago I shot behind the scenes on a
commercial production in town. The images were for a
website designed to allow you
to virtually beat down one of the poker world's
biggest brats.
The brat moniker is no joke. Log on. Beat the brat. Please. He's earned it.
For more on this shoot and on the brat, watch the Kare 11 Extra this Thursday at 10:00pm. (MN Only).

Haircut in the Dark
Several years ago, when the Ten Second Film Festival
was in its infancy, I collaborated with John Catron on the classic
film: Haircut in the Dark. Enjoy.
